Three Rivers Electric Cooperative - Youth Tour Essay Contest
Three Rivers Electric Cooperative participates in the Rural Electric Youth Tour, an essay contest for high school juniors. The winners of the essay contest are awarded a week-long all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C.
Juniors from all across the country go to our nation's Capitol to learn more about our government and visit the many great monuments.

A preliminary judging chooses 18 finalists to advance to a final judging. At the final judging, six students are selected to be the Cooperative's delegates to the Youth Tour in Washington, D.C. The remaining 12 students will be the Cooperative's delegates to the Cooperative Youth Conference and Leadership Experience (CYCLE) program in Jefferson City.
