Three Rivers Electric Cooperative promotes and sells the Marathon Water Heater. These water heaters are the most energy efficient electric water heaters available.
Typical water heaters are only insulated around the sides of the tank while the Marathon Water Heater is completely surrounded with insulation. Plus the tank is made of polybutylene with no anode rod required.
