Gilbert G. Hilkemeyer Scholarship |

In 1990, Three Rivers Electric Cooperative started an annual scholarship in honor of former Manager Gilbert G. Hilkemeyer.
The scholarship is for $1,000, renewable for the second year, and is designed to assist a student who will be paying part or all of the cost of a college education. The student must be a senior in high school whose parents or guardians are members of Three Rivers Electric Cooperative.

Applications are mailed to all area high school counselors in the fall after the start of the school year. An application deadline is set at that time.
A committee will meet to choose the applicants they want to interview. After the interviews, the committee will choose the winner who will be notified around the first of May.
